Sirene is a magazine dedicated to all those who love the sea.
The magazine binding is a paperback, and it’s characterized by large pages of recycled paper, rough and porous, made with Favini Shiro Alga paper, and decorated with a colored thread. This particular paper is made of algae and is produced using excess marine flora, mainly from lagoon environments considered at risk. For every half kilo of algae used, one kilo of wood is saved. In addition, the entire production process is specifically designed to have the lowest environmental impact. The pages have large white spaces, which try to evoke the image of the waves. The magazine contains involving stories, which wants to link people to a world that concerns us directly but that is increasingly at risk: the Sea.
