Wednesday, November 2 at 11.50, Nicola Simioni, co-owner and CEO of SIZ Industria Grafica, will present the magazine TAR Magazine at the University of Verona.

The meeting entitled “TAR: the connection between art, printing and publishing” with the participation of students of the first year of the Degree in Languages for Publishing, will show how a TAR-like magazine is created.

Its peculiarity  lies in the strong link between of the three  artistic, printing and publishing spheres.

The bi-annual magazine, whose name is an anagram of ART, came to the thirteenth output and boasts contributions from artists such as Damien Hirst, Urs Fischer, Julian Schnabel. It proposes, from the first issue, to mix images, art and words in this unique magazine: every cover, for example, is made by a different famous artist, giving him complete freedom of action in the graphic design.

Technical and typographical value lies in having all different pages, paper weights and textures: this made possible by the experience of over 50 years of SIZ Industria Grafica.

The invitation, as well as for students, is open to all who wish to participate.

Wednesday, November 2, from 11.50 to 13.30 , Room 2.4, Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, University of Verona, Via dell’Artigliere 8, 37129 Verona, Italy.
