We’re glad to be the printers of the beautiful “Conversations” book by Niemann and Blechman at the Metropolitan Museum of Arts.

The drawings and photos in this book appear in their exhibit “Talking Pictures: Camera-Phone Conversations Between Artists”, opening June 27th.

Christoph Niemann is a German visual storyteller whom we have already worked in the printing of his limited edition prints taken from “Sunday Sketching” monograph (here)

Nicholas Blecham is the art director of the New Yorker and we’re proud of working for him for the first time. The foreword is written by David Remnick, editor in chief of the New Yorker.

“The Met commissioned 12 artists to participate in the project, all of whom were asked to invite another artist to be his or her conversation partner for a five-month period. From November 2016 to April 2017, the participants sent still images and brief videos back and forth in a game of pictorial ping-pong” source: metmuseum.org

Big up for their beautiful work!
